Produced by slitting hot rolled or cold rolled carbon steel coil into narrow widths. Features uniform thickness, good surface quality, clean edges, and consistent mechanical properties. Available grades: Q195, Q235, Q345, SS400, S235JR, S355JR, and low-carbon steel for forming. Thickness range: 0.3mm – 6.0mm. Width range: 5mm – 600mm (slit from master coil). Surface condition: as-rolled (black, with scale), pickled and oiled (clean), or cold rolled (smooth, bright). Edge condition: slit edge (deburred), round edge, or square edge. Coil ID: 300mm, 500mm, or 508mm. Coil weight: custom, typically 50kg – 3 tons. Hardness/temper: soft, half hard, or full hard (for spring applications). Easy to stamp, form, bend, and weld. Meets ASTM A36, EN 10025, JIS G3101, or GB/T 3524 standards.

Application description:

Also suitable for flexible ducts, cable trays, and packaging bands. The narrow width and precise thickness allow efficient stamping, roll forming, and bending for high-volume production.
Production description
Carbon steel coil (hot or cold rolled) is inspected, then slit into narrow strips (5–600mm) on precision slitting lines with deburred edges. Strips are tensioned and rewound into coils (ID 300/500/508mm). Finished strips are inspected for width, edge quality, and hardness, then packed.
Shipping Packaging
For export, carbon steel strips are wound on plastic or steel reels, wrapped with VCI paper and moisture-proof polyethylene, packed in wooden crates or on ISPM-15 pallets, secured with steel straps, and fitted with edge protectors. Labels include grade, dimensions, coil weight, and heat number for safe sea freight.
